Western Bay Museum at 32 Main Rd, Katikati re-opens from Thursday 21st April 2022 with three new exhibitions.
The museum has been closed since late January due to the latest Covid-19 outbreak but will re-open its doors in time for the long Anzac Day Weekend.
Three new exhibitions will be on display; Service + Sacrifice, a new Taonga Maori exhibition, and Weeds, Weeds, Weeds.
In the interactive area groups of up to six can enjoy the new 'Defend Auckland' game using technology from the past.
Guided Tours will be back as well; turn up and enjoy a tour from one of our knowledgeable and friendly volunteers on Mondays at 11am; Wednesdays at 2pm, Thursdays at 11am and Saturdays at 12 noon.
Entry to the museum is free to Western Bay residents and ratepayers.
